Is It You, Lord?

Is it you, Lord?
The One whom we have adored?
Now, standing among them, Jesus says, "Peace to you.
What I speak I am able to do.
Flesh and bone, and I'm hungry, too.
Yes, I died on that cross for each of you,
Giving you life, brand new.
Yet, I live...
Hope I give!
I spoke these words to you before.
Do you remember? Do not ignore.
There is doubt in each heart, I recognize,
Far more than you realize.
Do you see and understand?
In your presence, before you I stand.
Believe, yes, believe...

We've Seen Him. Too!

Two travelers walked the Emmaus road,
Talking about happenings they were told.
Some had seen Jesus alive after He died.
Was it truth or had they lied?
The two remembered the things He had done.
Surely, He was Jesus, the Holy One.

A stranger knowing nothing they knew
Of this One they talked about, He had no clue.
They told Him about Jesus Himself, the very One,
Of all the things He had done.
Even of His crucifixion, blood and pain
And all this One suffered for their gain.

"The Greatest" by Kay Hinson

You argue and fuss who the greatest will be:
Those who are prepared to serve and have been on bended knee.
You remain silent to my questioning,
But I know about your arguing and guessing,
Asking among yourselves who's the greatest and best,
Thinking yourself better than all the rest.

To be the first you must be last.
Be a servant to all, including the outcast.
The little children, love them, too,
Receiving Me and the Father in all you do.
You are different than the world --
My teachings you have heard. . .
